 |  Biography   Dr. Davenport began her training as a Registered Nurse, earning her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Nursing from Duke University, followed by a Doctorate Degree in Cardiac Physiology from George Washington University.  Dr. Davenport was a professor at The American University for 10 years and heavily involved in research at the NIH prior to returning to George Washington University for medical school. Following her Residency in Internal Medicine, Dr. Davenport completed a Fellowship in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and has received additional training in Peripheral Vascular Intervention.  Dr. Davenport lives in Chevy Chase where she and her husband raised five children. She has offices in Northwest Washington, D.C. and maintains medical staff privileges at Georgetown University Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Sibley Memorial Medical Center, Suburban Hospital and the National Rehabilitation Hospital.
